The partnership between GSoM and NAPT has been forged in order to facilitate the growing need for leadership and executive education in Qatar.
The signing took place at NAPT's headquarters in Doha and was attended by the Vice Chairman of NAPT , Abdulla bin Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah, the General Manager Masoud Al-khaldi, Business Development and Protocol Officer Sabine Meyer and representatives of GSoM, Brian Buckley, Executive Programmes Director and Michael Harris, Business Development Manager.
GSoM has over forty years experience in delivering management education at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Its programmes are validated through two leading British universities; the University of Plymouth and the University of Wales. It is envisaged that this new strategic partnership between GSoM and NAPT will capitalise on the ever increasing demand for leadership and management education in both the public and private sectors.
NAPT currently provides specialist programmes for a number of international agencies and global organisations. This strategic partnership will enable NAPT to facilitate a broader range of academic programmes which will augment its current professional training portfolio. The partnership will pave the way for a number of innovative bespoke leadership courses at certificate and diploma levels, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate degree level programmes.
GSoM's Executive Programme Director, Brian Buckley commented
"The signing of this agreement opens up a new chapter in the internationalisation of GSoM's leadership and management programmes. I believe that Qatar will become an important hub for business and commerce within the Middle East, and as a consequence, the need for quality management education will be key for the future of this important economy."
