  What's On in Royal Greenwich

September 2010

There is always something going on around the bustling town of Greenwich - something for everyone, at all times of the day and on everyday of the week.

In the first instance we should point you toward the offical Greenwich Tourist Office - located next to the great Cutty Sark clipper ship - their website is www.greenwich.gov.uk/tourism.

This will set the scene and link you instantly to a host of other relevant sites including, for example, arts locations such as The Greenwich Theatre and Blackheath Halls; museums in the area - notably the National Maritime Musuem, and the Old Royal Naval College. There are eating and drinking establishments to suit all tastes; and include transport routes courtesy of Transport for London and wider tourist links for London and Britain.

The smart Greenwich Picturehouse is just down the road and offers 5 screens plus a bar, cafe and restaurant

For information and reviews on London Restaurants, Pubs & Bars, Clubs, Tickets and lots more, take a look at http://www.viewlondon.co.uk

Many people are unaware that aside from being the most successful entertainment venue in the world, the 02 also contains an 11 screen multiplex cinema - including the largest screen in London - and either side of your film visit you can wander down a wonderful avenue full of restaurants of every theme and cuisine. Visit www.theo2.co.uk for more details.
