Master of Science (MSc)

The Master of Science degrees at Greenwich School of Management provide course members' who have a recognised first degree (not necessarily in the specialist areas) with a rigorous academic programme that will prepare them for management and leadership roles within their chosen career paths.

It is the aim of the programmes of study to broaden course members' knowledge and awareness of best practices within those management functions germane to administrative roles in their industries.

MSc Oil & Gas Management

Professionals within the oil & gas industry who possess the requisite level of technical knowledge for their industry cannot be relied upon, necessarily, to possess a similar level of understanding of effective management practices beneficial to their industry. An understanding of the principles associated with the management of a human resource, for instance, is not necessarily associated with a study of oil & gas exploration. Similarly, the management of financial resources will contribute to effective management practice, whilst a study of project management will be a valuable augmentation of knowledge acquired within the students’ professional studies.

Mode of attendance

Daytime - 12 months full-time or 24 months part-time
Evening - 24 months part-time

Starting Dates
The Daytime and Evening MSc Oil & Gas Management programme has enrolment dates in February, June and October each year.

MSc in Leading & Managing in Healthcare Organisations

The roles of medical practitioners and administrators in the healthcare sector, are no longer solely patient centred. Goal setting, strategic decision making, quality assurance and management feedback mechanisms are increasingly playing a major part in healthcare operations, be it in the private sector or the NHS. Healthcare professionals, therefore, must equip themselves with the skills that will enable them to become effective in this increasingly bureaucratic environment.

Mode of attendance

Weekend - 24 months (5 weekends and 3 Saturdays)

Starting Dates
The programme has 6 start dates: February, April, May, June, September and November each year.

MSc in Procurement Management

The aim of the MSc programme is to provide students with the latest thinking on global purchasing and supply practices and trends. Successful candidates will be able to examine the strategic and tactical management of the supply chain and they will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to have a direct impact on business success in this sector.

Mode of attendance

Weekend - 24 months (7 weekends)

Starting Dates
The programme has 7 start dates throughout the year.

Progression
Successful completion of the MBA or MSc programme can lead to entrance to either the DBA or PhD programme offered at Greenwich School of Management.
