The Galileo Computerised Reservation System

When applying or any job involving AirTravel, potential employers will expect the applicant to be ‘CRS’or ‘GDS’ qualified. This interactive course will provide the skills required, together with an IATA-recognised qualification through VIASINC.

Under the supervision of a lecturer, Students follow a simulated program and must successfully complete the computer-generated exercises before continuing to the next stage.

The course is normally taken in conjunction with the Airline Fares and Ticketing Training or as part of the Diploma courses.

How to join a Programme

Complete the application form, indicating the programme you wish to follow, the date you wish to commence the programme, and whether you wish to study full-time, Evenings, or Saturday Mornings.

Generally, Programmes commence February, June and October each year.

The completed application form should be returned to the Tourism Department, together with the registration fee (or deposit for part-time programmes), 3 passport-size photographs and copies of your qualifications (if applicable).

UCAS

For details of applying for the BSc programme through UCAS, please refer to the separate BSc prospectus.

Registration and Enrolment

If you are not qualified for the programme of your choice, the School may suggest an alternative programme that suits your needs and qualifications.

Your acceptance letter from the School will inform you of the date on which you should enrol and the duration and cost of the programme.

You should arrive at Greenwich School of Management on the date specified in your acceptance letter.

You will be expected to make your first fee payment on enrolment, or produce evidence of funding.

Accommodation

If you require accommodation throughout the programme, the Accommodation Officer will arrange this on enrolment.

Further Information

Tuition fees are payable in advance.

Tuition fees are non-refundable.

The Registration fee is refundable should the School be unable to accept you.

Overseas students are reminded that they must comply with Home Office regulations on immigration, particularly with respect to attendance. A medical certificate must support absences due to illness.

Programme details are correct at the time of going to press, but are subject to alteration. Programmes will only take place if justified by demand.

All fees are inclusive of government taxes. Students must adhere to the Greenwich School of Management regulations relating to their programme, a copy of which will be provided on enrolment.

The School reserves the right to refuse to accept or enrol any student.
