Within the travel and tourism industry, the Resort Representative has an important role in representing the tour operator and ensuring the success of a client’s holiday. The Resort Representative is the first point of contact for holidaymakers at their destination. The NCFE level 2 Certificate for Resort Representative provides the skills, knowledge and understanding required to carry out the role of a Resort Representative. It is ideal for those seeking employment in this area.

This programme gives students the opportunity to hypothetically step into the shoes of an overseas resort representative. This is achieved through written and practical work whereupon students are required to delve into the many tasks that a resort representative has to complete, from meeting holidaymakers at the airport to customer care. Through this means of learning you will be provided with the skills and knowledge to embark upon the road of becoming a successful overseas resort representative.

How to join a Programme

Complete the application form, indicating the programme you wish to follow, the date you wish to commence the programme, and whether you wish to study full-time, Evenings, or Saturday Mornings.

Generally, Programmes commence February, June and October each year.

The completed application form should be returned to the Tourism Department, together with the registration fee (or deposit for part-time programmes), 3 passport-size photographs and copies of your qualifications (if applicable).

UCAS

Registration and Enrolment

If you are not qualified for the programme of your choice, the School may suggest an alternative programme that suits your needs and qualifications.

Your acceptance letter from the School will inform you of the date on which you should enrol and the duration and cost of the programme.

You should arrive at Greenwich School of Management on the date specified in your acceptance letter.

You will be expected to make your first fee payment on enrolment, or produce evidence of funding.

Accommodation

If you require accommodation throughout the programme, the Accommodation Officer will arrange this on enrolment.

Further Information

Tuition fees are payable in advance.

Tuition fees are non-refundable.

The Registration fee is refundable should the School be unable to accept you.

Overseas students are reminded that they must comply with Home Office regulations on immigration, particularly with respect to attendance. A medical certificate must support absences due to illness.

Programme details are correct at the time of going to press, but are subject to alteration. Programmes will only take place if justified by demand.

All fees are inclusive of government taxes. Students must adhere to the Greenwich School of Management regulations relating to their programme, a copy of which will be provided on enrolment.

The School reserves the right to refuse to accept or enrol any student.
